Firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY AH KANG!! (:

As your cell member i just wanna say thank you for everything you've done and sacrificed for the cell. I feel really blessed to have you as a cell leader and like what i wrote on your wall on facebook, i know being a cell leader isn't the easiest thing sometimes, so I'm really thankful that you've stayed strong with us, leading and guiding us (:

To the rest of the cell,

thank you! Thank you for the authenticity in cell. How I can just share my life so openly without fear of being judged or criticised, even when I'm really in the wrong. Thank you for always being such an accepting cell, one the loves and embraces. I really love our cell for the times of deep sharing of lives, to the point where I'll cry when i share, but yeah. I really love our cell for that. Thank you! (:

To sharmaine, thank you for being such a strong support for joy and the cell. Reminding us of cell, taking attendance and remembering our birthdays. You've truly been a blessing to the cell.

To deon phua, hahah! My dancing partner in cell. Thank you for just being who you are with us, being unafraid to share how you're feeling and just being the joker in cell. haha. Thank you for the stupid, silly, funny, insane moments when you really made me laugh till my belly ached. Thank you for teaching me a little bit of chacha, and let's continue dancing man! Woo!! hahah.

To erwin, moses, joelS, daryl, vicky, and abby, you guys have really been missed by us in cell. We really miss your presence in cell so much. Come back k, we want to share lives with you too! :D

To basia, nehnehniel, yolanda, you JC peeps! haha. As much as we're Poly/ITE, you've really been such a part of us. And i'm really thankful for you guys in cell too. I hope the cell will help your carry your 'burden' of As, to walk and support you through. Jiayou! :D

To weishy and didi, you guys mean a lot to me! so i've decided to dedicate another post for y'all. hahaha.

I'm really hoping i didn't miss anyone out.

Well, dear daddy, you're really like my superhero.

Something I really appreciate you for is the extent of things you would do for me just because you love me, even the small things like putting aside whatever you're doing to send me to whitesands,church or wherever. How often you remind me that you love me, and that i'm beautiful in your eyes. How you always want to spend more time with me, and hug me whenever you see me. Although it may not seem like i know or notice your gestures of love, I know that you love me a lot a lot a lot, like A LOT. haha. And I'm really appreciative and grateful for that.

You mean the world to me daddy. Your words of advice, encouragements, prayers of strength and anointing, your time spent with the family even when you're busy at work, the sacrifices you made, the quiet prayers you made up to God to pull you through periods of striving that went unseen by us, the gestures and reminders of how much you love me and how much i mean to you, every little and big thing displays your love for this family and me.

Thank you daddy for watching me grow up, even to this day when I'm almost 18, I know I'm still like a little baby girl to you, that I'll always be your darling. I know that you'll still want to hug and kiss me goodnight, take care of me when I'm ill, correct me when i'm wrong, teach me when I'm lost, pray for me when I'm weak and just support and provide for me in every single way. Thank you for all that daddy, cause through every small action you've done, I've been inspired and touched by the way you love the family and place us of utmost importance in your life.

As cliche as it may sound, you're the best daddy anyone could ever have!

One who brings so much joy and laughter into the home with all your funny stories and actions.

One who loves beyond what is necessary, and gives beyond yourself.

One who shares your life openly, guides us, and live your life as an example for kor and i to follow.

One who loves the family more than your business, your social life, your ministry, over everything you love us so much.

One that yearns to spend time with us, and even make time out of your schedule to fit our busy schedule.

One who is willing and wanting to make time to just talk to us and find out how we're doing.

One that truly loves us, like how God loved Jesus as a son.

Firstly, a very very happy birthday shawn! (:

You've really been a blessing to my life ever since sec 1, just being there when I need a leader and a guide.

I was just going through my pictures to find a picture of both of us, and (sadly) I can't seem to find any of just two of us! We need pics! Haha.

But anyway, I'm really thankful to have you as my leader when I first came into SHSS. I still remember the first time you met me to disciple me at Tea Valley, when it was still at its old location. I remember you pointing out to me my pride and how I need to change. I remember you guiding me as a leader, teaching me how to do word and lead worship. I remember your little notes and cards of encouragements that really spurred me on to lead and grow in my calling. Thank you.

Up till today, I still regard you as my leader shawn. Till today, you're someone I truly treasure, respect and love (yeah, i do!) as a leader and friend.

I find it extremely heart-warming and comforting that even though we have gone on with our lives, taking on different paths and cells, I can still call on you when I need help. It's amazing how you still understand me so well, know my strengths and weaknesses as a leader and really guide me to be a better person for Christ.

I am truly honoured and blessed to have you in my life, cause I know that although you are my leader first, you are my friend and really, an older, now much older, brother! haha.

Thank you sweat for always being there.

Thank you for the time you've invested into my life, even till this year.

Thank you for still calling me 'panda' after so long, you're still one of the few who calls me that.

Thank you for sharing your life with me.

Thank you for not giving up on me, and always believing in me.

Thank you for the words, the time, the prayers that you've put into my life.

Hey dearest Teong, Jo, Joo and Manman! (:
There’s so much I want to say to you girls, so many words of appreciation, encouragements, disturbing y’all and just words of love. But to summarise it all, it’s just this line.

We’ve come this far since sec1, and I’m not going to lose any of you, any time soon - we go together (and may i add, forever).

Through these almost six years of friendship with your girls, I’ve grown and learnt so much from each of you - the paranoia/punctuality, the way-to-talk-to-guys (hahahah! you know who you are), the way to worship God freely in class, the way to fly off to America (leaving us all behind, heh ). Hahah, but yeahh. I really treasure you girls so much!

Thank you Joo, for not forgetting about us even when you were in America! haha. For your constant joy that you bring through your crazy dance moves, hyena laughter and camera-snapping, heh. Thank you for accepting me for my crazy side too (i think it’s just cause i match up to your craziness too, haha), thank you for being there and just being a constant joy-bringer. You’re a really one crazy netballer, friend and sister-in-Christ. I love you so muchy joojoo <3

Teong, you’ve been with me through these years till now and I can’t say how much you’ve been a support to me. Sharing your life with me, encouraging me on with schoolwork and just sharing the same faith and convictions as me. Thank you for being someone whom I know I can turn to if I need anything. Jojo, you…***rt!! Hahah. Kidding la. But yeah, you’ve been such an entertainment in my life (haha!). How your life stories can go on and on, and never end. How every time we meet, you’ve got new juicy news to tell us. haha! I still remember you as the pai-ka girl, visiting you at the hospital just for you to puke at my feet, ha! You’ve got such a crazy whacked up life, and because of that, you’ve brought much surprise (like literally and constantly), laughter and love into our friendship. Just know that, although jas and I are in SP, and Man and Joo are BFFs, we still love you. or if they don’t, I DO! hehe.

Manmanman! yes, when I first saw you, I thought you were really cool. Haha! Don’t laugh!! But well, you’ve really grown so much manC, and I’m so happy and prouda you, heh. I don’t know how to put this right, but in this friendship among the five of us, you really bring in an essential ‘ingredient’ to make this friendship work. Like you’ve got this potion that makes us this special group of friends. Okay, you may have lost me there. But nevertheless, I just want to thank you. Thank you for being so interested in my life (trying so hard to dig juicy-bits outta me, haha), for opening up your spiritual walk to me, for trusting me with it and just sharing your life. Thank you for being the constant “mother”, nagging at us to be on time and everything else. hehe. Thank you manman, I really love you so much! -smiles with gap- :P LURBZX

Wow, broke the 50 mark, and not going strong. Haha!

Well, it's been more than a month since i last posted here, and I think that I won't be posting here that often anymore, given tumblr's convenience, speed and everything else that comes with it. Hehe.

So I'm gonna be a disloyal blogspot blogger until I get bored of tumblr or something (:

Just thought I should leave something here before I disappear for exactly three weeks.

If you're reading this, you're probably thinking "Wah! Lucky girl!", and yeah I agree full on.

But I think more than it being a camp, adventure or holiday, it is a break for me (:

A break from studies, ministries & stuff that happens on a daily basis here in Singapore.

I really thank God for these trips, because in Batam I'll learn more about leadership, people and life. In perth, Ivy & I plan to really seek God and make this adventure a fun, exciting and yet relaxing and spiritual one. & in Vietnam, to finally close off my break with the love and support of my family (and very importantly, quality time with my brother!).

Of course, I'll miss some people & stuff in Singapore while being away for so long, but bear with me. I'll be back soon. I'll come back stronger, clearer, and with more directions regarding everything in my life. (:

If you're a christian, please pray along side with me. That through these three weeks, as I continue to pray and really think about life, God will speak to me and that I'll become a stronger person after these break period (:

I'm really looking forward to every single trip, thank God!
